Choosing The Right Genre~

                                                                   HORROR? THRILLER? OR MYSTERY?

We were a group of filmmakers, each with a different vision of cinematic terror. One of us was drawn to the thrills of horror, one wanted to do mystery, and one wanted to include the suspense of thriller. We debated, held meetings, and shared ideas, trying to find the perfect formula for our project.

Finally, a brilliant idea struck us: why choose just one genre when we could have them all?

So we decided to blend all three genres and ideas of all the team members in this project. We were inspired by the haunting power of "Dabbe", the famous horror film directed by Hasan Karacadag. We also watched movies like The Nun, The Conjuring and Sijjin, to influence our minds. We decided to create a short film that would blend horror, thriller, and mystery. The result is "Seytan".

Seytan is about a curse on a girl who witnesses a dark ritual and experiences various paranormal incidents...
